The Original Edition is the first edition of The Circular Backgammon — its first material expression and the way the object entered the world for the first time.

Nubuck leather offers warmth and registers the passage of time. Wood brings balance and gains character through use. Quartz carries weight, natural variation, and a sense of permanence. Thread connects each element through the visible gesture of the hand.

Each material was chosen not simply for what it is, but for what it becomes.

The Original Edition is handcrafted in Mexico — a country where traditions of working slowly, deliberately, and with full attention have been preserved across generations.
